Kaylin Risvold leads a dedicated team of nine women as the President & CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. Under her leadership, the NACC has achieved significant milestones, including 5-star chamber reaccreditation and recognition as the Chamber of the Year by the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. Kaylin has also been honored as one of ACCE’s 40 Under 40 and recognized as the Most Influential Person in Business and a C-Suite Honoree by the Daily Herald.
Raised in Naperville, Kaylin graduated from Naperville Central High School and earned dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of Missouri. Her career in television news took her across several states, including Missouri, South Carolina, and Oregon. Her passion for storytelling and connection led her to the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter, where she excelled as the Director of Media Strategy.
Committed to personal growth, Kaylin pursued a Master of Leadership Studies from North Central College while balancing full-time work and family life. She is the first in her family to earn a graduate degree.
Kaylin and her family are actively involved in the Naperville community, supporting various nonprofit organizations. Her husband, John, is a trial attorney and serves as an Elected Official and commissioner on the Naperville Park District Board. Together with their three children, they emphasize the values of authenticity, gratitude, and celebrating success in both their professional and personal lives.
