Embracing All Aspects of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Educate. Embrace. Empower.

The NACC Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee (DEI) fosters an awareness and understanding of various perspectives and cultures to create a sense of community and belonging for all.

The DEI Committee will engage the following strategies to impact our community:

  • Be a facilitator and connector of the best resources for businesses to utilize when seeking to understand diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Educate and implement best practices in Naperville to enable businesses, residents, and visitors to feel respected, honored, acknowledged, and understood.
  • Lead by example: create awareness and an environment that empowers positive change.
Members of the NACC Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.

This committee will bring people together to continue the conversation on how we can work together to improve Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the business community.

“The DEI committee will work collaboratively with the business community to recognize why it is important to embrace all aspects of diversity and inclusion as a valuable benefit for employees, clients, and customers alike. It is my hope that diversity and inclusion, if not already, is seen as the norms of doing business, not an afterthought.”
